The second progress report of Tubitak 1001 research project with ID:120E307 has been approved by Tubitak and found to be successful for the evaluation of the outputs obtained during the period of six months after the completion of the first year.
The second progress report addresses i) WP1 – the conventional least squares- and deep learning-based channel estimation in intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS)-assisted wireless communications as illustrated in Figure 1 and Figure 2, ii) WP2 – trajectory design for IRS-UAV deployed HetNet considering the energy efficiency and stochastic battery consumption modeling, iii) WP3- stochastic geometry modeling of base station deployments for energy efficient design of communication systems and iv) WP4 – PHY-layer security of IRS-UAV-aided HetNets.
