Beste Atan (Akkuzu) received the B.S degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from İzmir İnstitute of Technology with the highest rank, İzmir, Turkey in 2011, and the M.S degree in Telecommunication Engineering from İstanbul Technical University, İstanbul, Turkey in 2014. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. degree in Telecommunication Engineering from İstanbul Technical University and concurrently working as Radio Access Networks Solution Architect in Ericsson Turkey. Also, she is a member of the Information and Communication Research Group at Istanbul Technical University. Her current research interest includes 5G and beyond networks, network optimization, integrated access backhauled networks, edge computing, resource allocation, and scheduling.
